Welcome to the Southwest Colorado Oral Histories Inventory!
As a part of Southwest Colorado's 250-150 initiative, this inventory was created to compile a list of the oral histories that tell stories about the region (the counties of Archuleta, Dolores, Hinsdale, La Plata, Montezuma, Ouray, San Juan, and San Miguel as well as the Southern Ute and Ute Mountain Ute Reservations).
Use this website to search the inventory and find records about oral histories. With this information, one can locate the oral histories and sometimes even access them online to learn more about the region. We hope this resource can be helpful to researchers and anybody else interested in learning through oral histories.
